No Links

When I use Outlook Express and click on a link in a
message from someone IE opens and the link never
appears...the screen stays open and the world icon is
rotating, but nothing ever appears......This also happens
in IE with most web sites links....
I use MSN Explorer to view hotmail and if I forward a OE
message to Hotmail in explorer the link works.....
Help, I am a novice.
