Good day -
While reading e-mail all of my messages will disappear. The message
displayed is No Items in this view. I closed the mail program & re-opened it
- still can not see any messages. I reboot the computer and re-open mail and
everything is back and works fine untill the next time -- maybe an hour --
maybe a week then I have to reboot again. The frequency of this problem has
been increasing.
Any suggestions?

Which antivirus are you running?
Windows Mail is incompatible with most McAfee and Norton
antivirus programs. If you are using either of those two, it is
best to uninstall it and replace it with a more compatible
antivirus, such as the free version of Avast:

MacAfee --I have a 3 year paid subscription and am otherwise comfortable with
it. May have to find another e-mail program -- tried Eudora but it will not
work with Vista - It is very disapointing that Vista has so many problems.

It's unreasonable to expect Vista to correct design/programming
errors in 3rd party software but try Thunderbird if you are unwilling
claim a refund and remove the Vista incompatible software and replace
it with a tried and tested free alternative.

Mind you, do not expect installing Thunderbird to insulate you
from other possible gremlins in McAfee crapware.
