No internet connection

I run three computers off a Linksys router (WRT54G), 2 of them wireless and
one attached by an ethernet cable. They ran fine for the past year. Now none
of them recognize an internet connection. I have tried resetting the router
(after speaking to Linksys customer service) as well as run antivirus. Stilll
no connection.

1) Has my router gone bad?
2) Is it still possibly a virus?
3) Is it something else entirely?
4) Am I asking this at the right newsgroup?

Any help will be appreciated greatly. Thanks.

I am having this same problem with a Linksys router and my computer. It
recognizes the internet connection but will not connect to anything. The
icon says connection-excellent. But I can't open any of my online programs.
I have tried everything without success. My computers didn't have any
problem until the service pack 2 was installed on them. Now only the primary
connected computer works.

I have a Linksys with usually two, sometimes three pc's wired to it. SEveral
months ago my pc stopped getting internet connection. I eventually just
changed outlet to a spare one on the router and to my joy it worked. So maybe
my Linksys is starting to go bad. Your problem maybe is farther back at the
modem which I expect you have disconnected and restarted already. I wish I
were more expert on these things, sorry that's all I can suggest!
