No google.... :o(

I still cannot get to Google services using IE7. Why is this blocked from my
system? Can anyone help? I cannot get to my gmail or the nice photo service
that is available through google..... picasa i think.......
 
Could someone help me here? I do not know what a host file is, or where to
find it or what to do with it when I do. I need to get to google services,
I cannot. please help if you can.

You should include any previous correspondence so others can see what
has been suggested/tried already. I've added them above.

Do a search for HOSTS and you should locate the file in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Double-click the file, and you'll be asked what file to open it with.
Select Wordpad, the last program in the list, usually. Look through the
file for any reference to Google. If there is one, delete the line, or
insert "# " (That's the pound sign and a space.) before the line. That
should allow access to Google sites again.

But I doubt you'll find a reference to Google in the Hosts file. Here
