As of today, Sunday August 20, 2006; I am suspending
Involvement in user forums. There are no answers to any of
my posts (yet), and I doubt that there will be forthcoming.

The area(s) corrupted on drive were elude to as user
profile. That was false , as I can modify the listing and
parameters of the profile(s).

What I did discover, is that PnP typed the HDC as SCSI,
instead of IDE, and fully compliant PnP cards as "legacy"
cards (reference to Sound, Display, Network). While old
cards, the manufacturer said in each case that the PnP in
this case was setting up their cards wrong. This has been
marked now as a Bug in windows PnP.

This system needs a complete rewrite.

Could have just responded to whatever thread you claim has no responses
though.
BTW - these are not "forums" per se - they are newsgroups.

I don't know about the other folks, but I didn't even miss ya. We got a new
