No Floppy wanted!

Hi,
what steps have to be taken to have no floppy drive (with exclamation mark)
in device manager? Although no floppy controller is on our hardware available
each time I startup Windows XPe a floppy drive is found and installed but not
correctly. I've deleted nearly all components within Target Designer to avoid
this but successless.

Any ideas? Thanks.

You don't need to delete "all" components.
Just remove "Floppy Disk Drive" and "Standard Floppy Disk Controller".
(and make sure those are not brought back by Dependency Checker)

Removing Class installer for floppy disk drives also a good idea.
