went to burn some music off my files and it says no drive detected. It workrd
fine last time i used it. What's up? I'm Not the most computer savvy either.

Is this your CD/DVD drive that's not being detected? If so, try this free
burner to check your system (it doesn't require installation, so it's more
independent than most other burners).

If it works, then it's likely that your burning software is corrupted. If
it doesn't work, then it's likely a problem with Windows or your drive.

Does your CD/DVD Burner appear in MyComputer? If yes, try rt clicking
MyComputer>select Properties>Hardware>
Device Manager>CD/Dvd Drives>Your Drive. Rt click on your drive and
select Uninstall. Restart and let WinXP reinstall
it. If no, go here to www.dougknox.com WinXP Fixes rt column 11
down. Restore CD/Dvd Drives to Explorer.

my computer says no drive detected and when i'm starting up it gives me an
error (rundll) or c:\Windows\ddaxyx.dll module could not be found. Is
this a problem with my registry and what can I do . I am unable to install a
disc because it is not opening or working. Help

Google gives no hits on that file. Did you spell it correctly? If so the
lack of hits is suspicious and could mean it is associated with malware. Is
your system clean of malware? Have you recently removed any?
