I have a new computer running XP Home. It would not
enter into standby due to a msg that said the driver for
com2 was preventing that from happening
I had difficulties with several programs mainly Outlook
Express Spell Checker and finally had to do a repair
reload on XP. Since the repair which reloads some
drivers I no longer have the option of going to standby
in the START/Shutdown function and also under the Power
Options it no longer shows standby in a window as being
available as it did before. I only have the monitor and
HD sutdown options available which don't seem to work.
Does anyone know the fix???
