No Audio

Running XP Pro and audio is gone. No Audio Device Detected. The sounds control panel device is grayed out and no selections can be made. Have mreplaced sound card and altered slots several times.

Try reinstalling the drivers, once the Device Manager acknowledges there is a hardware sound device installed. Only you can say where you need to get those drivers.
 
Are you installing XP compatible drivers?..
