no access into secured web-sites

I recently downloaded all the updates Microsoft sent me
on auto update. Now I can't access my secured websites.
when I try to log in it just sits there and does nothing.
Yet I can go to any other sites. any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem. I downloaded MSIE 6 Sp1

Security Update 2 weeks ago and now get 'The Page Cannot
Be Displayed' on any secure website I try. Also can't
switch identities in Outlook Express and get multiple
copies of every email I have received since that date. I
have downloaded one fix for this -- but no difference.
Using Windows 98 SE.
