Hello
I have recently switched from ONE express to just Outlook.
I used to be able to have the address auto-complete but it does not in
Outlook?
Am I missing something? I cannot even find a place where you enable it.
Outlook 2000 SR-1
Windows 2K - OS
Any clues?
Jorge

I was asked to:
"Go to: Tools, Option, Preferences Tab, E-Mail Options, Advanced E-Mail
Options and check the box next to "Suggest names when completing To:, Cc:,
and Bcc: fields"."

There is no such statement in my version of Outlook 2000 (I swear)
The closest thing I have on this page is;
"Automatic name checking."

Any thoughts?

You were misinformed.
Outlook 2000 has no such option.
All it has is a feature called auto-resolution (Automatic Name Checking). If
you enter part of a name or a nickname then tab out of the field (or hit
Alt-K [Check Names]), Outlook will attempt to resolve the name against your
address book. If it can't it'll red underline it and you can right click on
the name to manually resolve it. Outlook will save the resolution for future
use.
