Nice to meet you guys. I think i am going to enjoy the company
according to what i read so far. BTW, can any one of you give me a clue
about this strange phenomenon that is happening to my computer after i
reinstalled windows? Maybe some of you will think I am a nerd because
of
my ignorance but i don't have a clue of whatever is going in this
computer of mine.
When i want to reinstall some software i had in usb-pens and even from
the
discs, i cannot insert the key again because it seems that the letters
got too fat for the small frame/cases where they must be inserted. Did
i change
any internal configuration or what? This software was installed before
i
had to clean the disc.
Well i know this is strange but if anyone can help or point some
directions i would appreciate it

Let me see if I understand your problem.
You have software on Disk and in USB removable storage devices "Pens"
To use the storage devices you must type in a "key".
The "key" characters are too large to fit into the entry box.
If this is correct.

Try--

Right Click on the Desktop background, Then click on Properties
(This opens the display properties window.)
Click on appearance at the bottom of the window, you should see a font size
box.
This is usually set to normal. If it was set to large, that may be the
problem.
You can click on the advanced button, and then the down arrow in the Item
box for more complex choices.

The above steps are based upon windows "classic" desktop settings and the US
english version.
International and language specific versions may differ.

Another possibility is that the fonts are something other than they normally
are.

Thanks for you interest Chuck.
Let me try to be more specific. These programs were installed in my
computer before i had to clean my hard drives from some vi roses. I
reinstalled windows and started to install several other programs from
the discs and it was working in its majority but some of those programs
are not allowing me to install because when is the moment to insert the
license Key the numbers don't fit.
( imagine one key like this one : XXXX-XXX-XXX-XXXX) what normally
should happen was that after the first 4 numbers were inserted the
cursor would jump to the next frame to insert the rest and so on, but
only three letters can fit in a frame where should be four and the
cursor won't move and there is no way to force the numbers inside and I
must abort the installation. What is curious is that if I change the
letters to four "I", that apparently are "thin" letters, it is inserted
and the cursor jumps to the next frame. I tried what you suggested but
didn't work. Any other ideas are welcome as i feel drained out of it by
now.

I could install those programs going to the regedit and forcing the key
in but they are not working well and when on the instalation the key
show as if is not fitting perfectly well on that case/frame where the
numbers should be entered. Is like if there is a desalination and the
grey frame is one space to the left and the numbers cannot enter to use
the room that is left.
Thanks anyway
K
