Good morning nice simple questiona I hope.

I have now...with a lot of help from forums such as this wrote my first
database of which I am very proud.

I would like if its possible to add two cosmetic changes.

When the switchboard first appears, is there a way of;

1. hiding all of the titles. At the moment the menu is black but at the
top, there is a blue strip with "Start Menu". Can I hide this??

2. When the form opens a properties box appears for a control, can I stop
these appearing.

Finally...and not a cosmetic change...my database uses a function to "data
score" about 300 records on a daily basis. I used a progress bar to indicate
that the program is still running as it takes a while. At the moment when
the progress bar has reached the end which is when the reports should run the
screen almost freezes. By simply tabbing to another process e.g. Excel and
then going back to the screen..it "Wakes up"...Can I add a line to prevent
the freezing??

In the design view of the form, navigate to the form properties, Format tab
and change the caption (at the top of the list) to a single space. This will
stop any form title from appearing. In addition in the Other tabe there is
an option at the bottom for allow design changes, change this to Design View
Only. This will get rid of the properties box.

I don't know about the last issue, i've not heard of this before.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Andrew

As to your last question. Since you did not post any of your code (or at
least relevant portions), I think it will be difficult for anyone to guess
at any solution.
