When I send the newsletter template in an e-mail it arrives scambled. If I send it as an attachment it arrives
perfectly. Why is it being scambled when sent as a email?

Hi Badger111

When you send a document as an email (ie within the body of the email),
the document is converted to HTML (the same language used to create web
pages). However, HTML is not capable of producing the complex layouts
that Word can do. So the email will appear to be "scrambled". For
example, pictures might not be in the right place, or columns won't
appear as you would like them.

How the email looks to the recipient will depend on how they view the
email. Some email applications can't view HTML at all, and what your
recipient sees will be unpredictable. Those recipients who can view HTML
email will see a result that depends on the particular browser they use
(eg Internet Explorer, Netscape etc) and what version of that browser
they have.

So, as you've discovered, if you want to be sure how the newsletter will
look to your recipients, the best solution is to send the newsletter as
an attachment.

Hope this helps.
