Hi all...
I am used to NGs in Netscape where I can drag any posting straight to my
inbox. Outlook does not seem to be able to access the inbox when reading NGs.
Is there a way to change that?

Is there an easier/more direct way to get to the NG other than using View>go
to>News? I am hoping for a keyboard shortcut and being able to add an icon to
click on.
Thanks
John

No, you can't. Outlook Express newsitems will not drag to Outlook's
folders. Did you try it? I did.

Outlook can access its Inbox while you're reading news since Outlook's
newsreader is usually Outlook Express, a separate program. Both can operate
simultaneously and while reading news in OE, you can certainly read mail in
your Inbox. I do all the time.

It is true, however, that you can't drag items from OE to Outlook.

I understood that he had used Netscape for reading News
I am used to NGs in Netscape where I can drag any posting straight to my

And i suggested to use Outlook Express as Newsreader, where he can drag his
Mails into the Inbox.
