Hello,

I have a comp with 3 operating systems. They all have outlook. Whenever I
start outlook on a different operating system then the previous time I
started outlook, the list with newsgroups is gone, and I have the get them
again. Is there anyway to stop outlook from emptying the newsgroup list when
I start outlook in a different operating system then the last time?

Thanks.

So what does "start outlook on a different operating system" mean? That you
do fresh installs of the OS and then expect Outlook to know what all your
user data is that you stored in the same partition but formatted and lost
when you did the next fresh install of the OS? Move all your files under My
Documents to a different partition and use TweakUI to change the pointers to
look there instead and then set permissions on that other-partition folder
to be the same as from where you copied your data files. Do the same for
all user, data, and configuration files that you can (some programs won't
look anywhere except where they hardcoded the location for the data or
configuration files). For newsgroups, you can move the folder where the
..dbx files are stored. However, the accounts are defined in the registry
and you'll have to export them to keep backups to import after you do the
fresh install of the OS and applications.

Outlook doesn't "do" newsgroups. It uses Outlook Express for that and if
you have Outlook Express installed in three partitions of a multipartition
system with an different OS in each partition, then each partition's OE
should keep track of newsgroups independently of each other.

If you have some other arrangement, please state it clearly.
