I have tried to "mung" my email address to prevent spamming as outlined in
an earlier post of instructions. This does not work with my Outlook
Express. Should just the email address be changed or both the email and
reply address. I've tried both ways and nothing works for me.
 
You probably got a pop-up warning that the fictitious email addy was not
recognised? Just OK that and continue. You can enter absolutely anything
as an email addy in NG's.
 
Do not 'mung' your e-mail address. Instead, use a false name such as 'Phantom'
and use @anywhere.com. The @ and dot com is needed.
 
Yeah, but I bet the true MVP's can fix their system clocks--a skill you
obviously lack.
 
You could use the email address of your boss if you hate him a lot. I use email addresses of MVPs of this Newsgroup who irritate me a lot for having their brains below the belt!!

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching rich jerks!

Under OE Tools/Accounts/News/Properties/General down at email addy you can
enter anything there.
