Hi

I once worked out how to place a shortcut to an OE6 Newsgroup on my Outlook
2003 Shortcut bar.

I remember doing something like sending myself an email of the link, i.e.
and then dragging and dropping the link onto
the shortcut pane in Outlook 2003, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.

Can someone tell me how I did it!!?

Thanks.

Nik.

Outlook 2003 Shortcut Bar?
What is that?

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.

Older versions of Outlook supported links to web pages and news groups etc
in what is now the Outlook Bar. Outlook 2003 doesn't support this.

Thanks BillR, I'm glad you knew what I was talking about - I knew I'd done
it once upon a time.

Nik.
