NewsGroup Posting Error

Any ideas why I am getting this message when posting on non microsoft
newsgroups?

"Outlook Express could not post your message. Subject 'Test', Account:
'news.freeserve.com', Server: 'news.freeserve.com', Protocol: NNTP, Server
Response: '441 From: address not in Internet syntax', Port: 119,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 441, Error Number: 0x800CCCA9"

Have you asked Freeserve.com support? Or checked their FAQs and
documentation?
 
You have amended your email address to a format that is not in the correct syntax i.e (e-mail address removed) !

If you added a space or changed the @ to 'at' or . to 'dot' or something similar the server doesn't and it is isn't accepting your messages.

In Outlook Express select Tools, Accounts, News, Account name Properties and
change the address to a correct format even though the address may be fictitious.
