news servers

Anyone here using cox.net and successfully setup their news servers? I get
an error when I try to retrieve the newsgroup list and looks like I get
maybe a tenth of the list. I get the "An unknown error has occurred"!
 
It is a known bug and is for any news server except Microsfts own server.
Should be fixed in the next build I suspect. They have already fixed it
internally I believe.

I'm having the same issue with COX.net. Reading further in the thread it
looks like it's a known bug. Nice. Saves me the effort of spending time on
this.

Greetings, I am using Windows Vista also and have the same problem. I use
Charter. I have build 5384.

Go to tools, options and uncheck the option to use communities support
features. Now try and redownload your newsgroups. Its not a total fix but I
have seen it fix it once so it might work.
