I'm sure this has been answered before but my searches have turned up
nothing. I understand that I should be able to add NEWS to the GO menu in
Outlook 2003. But when I try to customize the toolbar by dragging the NEWS
command to the GO category, it just won't do anything. It refuses to let
me add NEWS to the GO menu. What am I missing?

To get the Go, News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control
Panel |Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook
Express. If OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time
you launch it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click
the No button.

Also, you can create a desktop shortcut to Outlook Express and include the
/outnews switch -- that gives you the same result as accessing the
newsreader via the News command in Outlook.

Well it's been asked before lots of times though ;-)
Anyway see the following link for options to the the news command back;

It's not that I can't get it back. I've never been able to add the NEWS
command to the GO menu. It just won't drag it over.

What happens if you just drag it to any toolbar that you have showing on the
Outlook main window?

OK, it will let me drag NEWS to the standard toolbar. I guess I was
misunderstanding where to drag it to. Oh well :) Thanks
