I've been using WS_FTP95 LE for some time, and I see there are newer
versions out there. I guess it's time to upgrade, or maybe update. I'm not
sure this is free any longer. I see one site where they mention a price, but
when I pressed the download button, it seemed like it might download without
any restrictions. What's the scoop on this program?

A quick look at Ipswitch's site shows that they now only have WSFTP
"Home" and "Professional" versions. You can download a 30 day demo of
"Home" -- no clue what it will do if you pass the 30 day mark.

I personally use FileZilla as my FTP client, after using WSFTP and
CuteFTP back in the day. FileZilla is a nice two pane drag & drop app,
with the added benefit of being completely free.

It's worth a look.

Why?

If it still works, it still does what you need, why change? I've been using
that program for a long time, too, and it still is perfectly satisfactory
for what I want.
