Hi all,

Been reading this group for a week or so, very interesting and seems
excellent help and advice. Okay I have FrontPage 2002, which I find is
great to use. What I am trying to do and find is a easy way of
creating a rollover button. What I want to do is have a button saying,
for example button says Led Zeppelin then when mouseover it then goes
to a link ledzeppelin.htm, loads more to do like that. problem is I
have no graphic skill, any ideas help how to do this easily?

Finally any book anyone can suggest for Frontpage 2002?

Thanks
Gerry

Gerry,

So, you're asking for help creating a graphic? Or are you asking for
help with the rollover? Or is it both?

First, to make the graphic, you're going to need a graphics app. The
graphic design features within FP are rudimentary, at best. Here's a
few suggestions. I believe they all have free trials:
- Paint Shop Pro:
http://www.jasc.com/products/paintshoppro/
- Photoshop Elements:
http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopel/main.html
- Ulead PhotoImpact:
http://www.ulead.com/pi/runme.htm

Once you have your graphics made, here's a JavaScript generator you can
use to get your rollover effects:

Good luck!

Or an easy way, for non graphics oriented users, is to create a navigation View of your pages
View Folder List, View Navigation and drag your pages from Folder List to Nav View
Then apply a theme w/ prebuilt buttons
- Format Theme (select 1 and the Vivid option plus the to Apply to All Pages)
Finally open a page and apply either shared borders (w/ navigation) or just insert a Navigation bar on your pages (selecting the use
default theme option)

FP will generate your links and rollover images in the Navigation bar
