Newbie question: Domains and Windows XP Pro

Hello,

OK, real newbie question here, but can't seem to get a solid "yes or
no" type answer so:

Can I set-up my Windows XP Pro machine as a domain controller or
domain, the same way I would with Windows 2000 Server or Advanced
Server?

Solid no. You need a separate domain controller like a server.
