Newbie: have trouble adding events

OS: XP pro
IDE VS .NET 2005
ASP.NET 2.0


Hey

I have a form I want to add the PreInit event to..... my problem is that i
don't know how to add the event to the form(asp.net page). In code view I
can't select the Page class in the drop down list to the top left, I see
only "index". And the other drop down list to the top right doesn't contain
the PreInit event.... And I cannot see the event in the property browser so
I can't create the event by double clicking on the event


What am I doing wrong here?

Assuming you don't have AutoEventWireup disabled (via: <%@ Page AutoEventWireup=false
%>), simply add:

void Page_PreInit()
{
// your code goes here
}
