When I right click in an explorer window and go to new, the only thing that
shows up is 'Folder'. What happened to shortcut, and all the program file
templates? I still can get them if I right click and go to 'new' on the
desktop. I'm using build 5536. Thanks.

Sounds like you have encountered a bug as they should be there. Have you
filed a bug report?
 
I will now... I didn't realize this was a bug - I thought that perhaps it
was 'by design'.
