Tom

I recently received a word document as an attachment in a
e-mail which allowed me to use word in more of a pdf
format than normal. Lot of very nice and handy features.

I am using 2003 but have never seen this before. Is this
something automatic on attachments?? Is this a upgrade
and if so where do I get it.

The document is referred to as a .rtf

I have opened some of my other multi page documents but
they are the same as they always were so I don't think my
word has been changed any.

Can someone point me to where I need to go for more
information.

Thanks

Tom

You can save any Word document as an .RTF file simply by selecting that
option the File>SaveAs dialog. I am not aware however of any "nice and
handy features" that a file in that format has that are not available in a
Word file.

What were they?

Was simply the "Reading Layout" which is available from
the standard toolbar of any word document. The icon is
read. Just discovered it?? Duh

Tom

Well, I guess we could count this as one vote *for* Reading Layout to count
against all the votes against that we have seen here!
