I just set up a new wireless network, however, I used to connect to another
wireless network. I am using WPA2 encryption. I can not connect to the
Internet using the new wireless network, although it says I am connected. I
can still connect to the old wireless network. I do not think that it works
even with the ethernet cord connected directly to it, only with the old
network. What can I do to fix this problem?

Try rebooting the router (or access point, depending on your
particular hardware).

Do you get a valid IP address or one in the 169.x.x.x address space
(Start=>Run=>cmd=>ipconfig)? If it is a 169.x.x.x number, then you
have connectivity issues with your router.

Have a pleasant day.

It is a 169 number. What do I do?

Is DHCP enabled on your router? And are you using a third party software
firewall such as Zone Alarm or Norton?

How do you enable DCHP? Also, another thing is that when I connect the
ethernet cord directly to the computer, I still cannot access the Internet.
Is it something that I have to set up on the computer because it is connected
to the router.
