i want to know how to open a file like excel to view in new windows.

but still it opens in one excel windows
how can i separate them?
im using office 2000 and windows NT.

but an error occur,when i close all my excel file and open it again theres
an error saying:
"cannot find the file 'D:\sample.xls' (or one of its components). Make sure
the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are
available."
what will i do? i cannot open excel file.

Maybe you could have another icon on your desktop that starts a second instance
of excel. Then do a File|open to open the other workbook.
