New User on XP

I am running XP on my home computer and I set-up my son as a separate user.
The problem is that he cannot access the Internet. IE starts and seems to
be working find except it does not find his home page or go to any other
sites. The Internet is accessed without any problems when I switch users
from my son to myself.

Are there any diagnostics hints or processes I should be using?
