Today, I was usin Outlook XP. I then "previewed" and suspected spam message
(no attachments). I then deleted the message (took a long time!!)
I then later noticed (and I have to emphasize, these MAY NOT be related,
just what I observed) that I had a new toolbar.
The tool bar has the following items "<-BACK-> " a drop down menu a
seperator bar, then "ADDRESS" with a selection box (containing outlook:Inbox
and the selections are recent websites) followed by "GO" an X for STOP, and
a refresh icon.

THis only shows in this profile. It is NOT something I have activated or
installed.

ADD-INs that are installed are
McAfee VirusScan Outlook Email Scanner
Exchange Extenions Property page (not familiar with this one)
Redemption Helper Outlook Extension ( to allow excel and outlook to work
together)

COM add-ins are:
DUPLICATE CONTACTS
DUPLICATE EMAIL FOLDERS
SPAMBAYES

I have installed all three of these (monthes ago!)

I am hesitante to use Outlook at this point.(atleast this profile!!!)
I have ran Mcafee, spybot and AD Aware.

Is this a MS toolbar? How can I disable it? Is this an "upgrade"

Thanks
Mc

It's the Web toolbar. You can close it by right clicking on any toolbar area
and removing the check from Web. Or you can leave it open.

I went to VIEW and TOOLBARS and WEB was NOT checked. I checked it, and then
a different bar (similar options) appear in the main tool bar. I can not
grab this one...
Thanks
Mc

My system has also slowed down!
Again, I scanned for viruses, ad aware and spybot.

This is NOT the web toolbar! I can enable the WEB toolbar and it appears.

Help please!!!!
