New templete and want small fractions

I made a new templete for a postcard. I want to be able to use 1/2 and have
it change to the smaller fraction like it does in Word Normal Templete. How
can I do this? Thank you
 
If you have this AutoFormat As You Type option enabled, it should work in
all Word documents.
