New tapes with NTBACKUP

Hello!

How can I add a new tape to ntbackup using NOT ntbackup, instead using
the Removable Storage Service in the Computer Management Console? The
problem is that when adding a new tape in the Computer Management, it
doesn't appeare in the possible selections in ntbackup. The only way
seems to be to make a small backup with ntbackup, select new and then
give a name. Then the tape is recognized by ntbackup. Isn't there
another way?

If the tapes show up in removeable storage management, right click on them
and prepare them....does that help?

Yes, I did that, but the tape still doesn't appear in ntbackup. Any
ideas? Could this be a bug (Small Business Server 2003) or is it a
feature that ntbackup only recognizes tapes this way?
