New Programs Installed (but aren't)

I'm getting this message whenever I click on Start - but I have no new
programs that I haven't used. In fact, I haven't installed any new programs
lately. How do I correct this. Thanks, Bobby.......

Hi Bobby,

It acts up at times for many users. To disable the function: Right click
the Start Button/Properties/Customize/Advanced and uncheck Highlight newly
installed programs.
