New profile created problem

Hi,

I an facing a new problem that , A new profile geting created in many of the
systems saying that unable to load your profile it is creating temp profile
tolog on.

Please help me give any solution to rectfy this problem

The new temp profile that is created is a symptom, not the problem.
Something has possibly corrupted your existing profile. Try booting into Safe
Mode and logon with the administrator account. If that works, the problem is
limited to your profile. If you can't logon as adminstrator, the corruption
is more widespread.

In either case, boot from your xp CD and press R to go into recovery
console. Run chkdsk /r (it will take quite a while). If it finds and fixes
disk/file errors, type exit to reboot, boot again from the CD, go back into
recovery console and run chkdsk /r again. Repeat until it no longer says
that it has found errors. Then see if you can boot normally.
 
Hi ,

Please help me in preventing this profile problem . What I have to do in
rest of all systems.
Whay it happenes.
In my case I want to retrive old profile . because in our organisation one
application running which is profile dependent.

I want to stop this profile problem ,

If this is happening on more than one system, and these systems are
networked together, you probably have a virus.

Disconnect all systems from the network, and try my suggestions below. Do
not connect any of them to the network until you are sure that none of them
are infected.

Once it's corrupted the best thing to do is create a new profile, log
into that at least once, then copy the settings from the old profile.

If it's happening on a variety of systems you need to look at what has
been done to each that's the common thread, or some sort of malware.
