I just uninstalled Office 2000 and did a clean install of Office 2003.

Now when I start my news reader I get a popup that says...

"Outlook News is not your default News Reader. Would you like to make it
so?"

1 - How can I find out what my Default Newsreader is? (I click 'no' to above
and it says Microsoft Outlook Newsreader across the top of the newsreader
window.)

2 - What happens if I click 'yes' ? Do I loose my saved postings and
newsgroup memberships?

If Outlook 2003 has a new newsreader, I wouldn't mind trying it but I don't
want to loose all my newsgroup stuff.

thanks.

1. Check Help->About in the news reader window to find out what it is. My
bet is that it is Outlook Express.

2. Check "no."

3. Outlook always has and always will use Outlook Express or your designated
news reader for news groups.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
