New PC Old Hard Drive

Old lady,s just bought me a new barebones PC. Put in floppy drive, memory,
cd ect. I put in my old hard drive but my nosey neighbour has told me I,ve
got to change it. Is this right or do I have to alter something on the H/D.
Pllease I,m not very PC literate. I can,t say wot me missus calls me.

Your references to your partner and neighbours give us some idea of what the
missus probably calls you, and no doubt she is justified at times..

Unfortunately for you, your neighbour knows a little more than you, so maybe
being 'nosey' is not all bad..
