Ok then,

I want a new PC for a £1000.

It must have a TFT monitor with it.

P4 3.2GHz minimum

1Gb Memory

Decent graphics card.

160Gb HardDrive

Don't want the hassel of building 1 myself so a pre-built model is better.

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

You can try Dell, but they dont have the greatest selection of graphics card.

Then theres Overclockers, but youll have to buy the monitor seperate.

You'd get a much better deal if you built it yourself in my opinion.

Strange, innit? All the regular guys here probably wouldn't know what to recommend, they all build their own :D

I may be wrong, I hope I'm wrong, but I certainly wouldn't know what to suggest myself.

Except, perhaps, avoid Microland Technology as a supplier, they, to put it mildly, suck.

I do feel that for your budget, steveb, you should be OK for your requirements.

So, feedback from all you peeps who've recently purchased an off the shelf system please :)

have to say when building your won pc it just feels so good when everything is going rite.............no doubt it is fun to make though!

but when you get some software/hardware problem whiich you cant solve it is so very frustrating!

you are wise not to build your own pc!

Going through the buying hell rout? get a Dell.
