xp will not boot with newly installed motherboard.
Realized that motherboard drivers on original hardrive
were crashing xp at startup. Starup diks would run ok.
Reloaded XP, everyting running but now have two copies of
xp on my hardrive. The new copy works but has none of my
programs on it. The old copy still crashes. I have the
choice of starting either copy of xp during startup.
Do ot relish the thought of reloading all of my
software. Is there anything i can do to tranfers all to
the new copy of xp or reconfigure the old copy with the
new motherboard drivers.

You can try an inplace upgrade to the original installation and see if that
helps. Remove the drivers in that old directory in the parallel before
doing the inplace and then boot from CD, choose Enter to install Windows,
F8 for the EULA, when it sees the C:\winnt installation (or whatever the
original install was) choose R for repair and see if that works.
