We just loaded Office 2007 on our computer and now, when we try to start a
new message, it opens with boxes or a table in the background. We cannot
delete it or type in the body of the message. The only way we have been able
to send messages is to reply to an existing message and then deleting all
info in that message to begin a new one. This has not happened with other
computers on which I have worked when Office 2007 was loaded and this was not
a problem with Office 2003 on this computer. How do we initiate messages
without needing to reply to another message? Thank you.

Do you have any stationery selected?

Apparently we did although we did not select it. While I do not understand
why we could not type a message with that background theme, now that I have
selected "no theme" we can send messages as usual. Thank you for your
assistance.

You're welcome.
