I have Outlook 2002 connected o Exchange 2000 on a Windows XP Professional
SP2 client. When a new mail is received by the client, Outlook does not know
there is a new mail until I move from one folder to another. I can have
several e-mails waiting for me but I do not know they are there until I
either move away from the current folder I am in to another folder, then the
process of receiving those emails begins and that is whenI see the unread
emails in my inbox. If I never move away from the current folder I never
know I have new mail. This has happened on several client machines and I
have been slowly upgrading to Outlook 2003 but I would rather know what the
solution is rather than just be forced to upgrade.
