New mail messages not opening in the foreground

I have a user who's stating that after recovering from an XP Blue Screen
(BSD), mail messages double-clicked in Outlook 2k3 are opening behind
Outlook(and any other apps) instead of in the foreground as usual. Office
wasn't service packed, so I had him do that and a reboot to no avail. I'm not
sure what the BSD was about, but he claims that a couple of reboots brought
XP back. He doesn't seem to be expereincing any other difficulties. Also, it
appears he only upgraded Outlook to 2K3 and is still running the XP ver of
the otherOffice apps... Everything was functioning normally before the crash.
Thoughts?

Try installing the latest version of the display driver.
