Hello:

I use MS Outlook 2003 as my basic email program..

I have three eamil accounts set up to use Outlook, but I have set my G-Mail
account as the default email account.

I've recently noticed that Outlook no longer automatically goes to that
account when I'm composing a new email. It alos asks me to enter the email
address in the "From" field. This was also done automatically only a week or
two ago.

How can I get those automatic function restored?

Thanks in advance:

-Eli

Exactly what does the message say that tells you to enter something in the
from field? Have you installed any addins lately?

The "From" filed simply remains blank. And the default email account isnt
automatically checked .
I haven't installed any add-ins that i know of. But an Adobe Acrobat upgrade
had recently placed a new button on the toolbar which alows me to "Attach as
an Adobe file"

TIA
-Eli

The from field is typically blank unless you enter an address in it. The
infobar above the from field will say which account it's getting sent on and
outlook fills in the from field when it sends. The field is only needed if
you need to override the account's address.
