I've had a few people think that the current logo looks a bit boring and bland, so I thought I'd put it to the vote :)

I'm not much of an artist, so it does look a bit generic - so I thought I might put a design competition over at sitepointforums to get a nice new logo designed. I've seen a few really good designs come from these, so I'm not worried about that :)

Let me know what you think :thumb:
 
Yea, i recon its time to make the banner look more uhh... kickin... or cooler, thats right, cooler.

Nah... only joking, this one is good, but i think it could be a bit better
 
I am new to the site, so have only seen the current logo for a few days.

Whilst it does look great as it is it would be interesting to see some other ideas. :)
 
yes i agree prehaps it it time for a new logo design
u have made all this effort to change the entire interface of this website
so why stop there? :)

Its open to anyone, but the entries have to be posted on the sitepoint website (its their rules). Would be very nice if someone here won :D
 
Seen them all but something is missing in the ones suggested, lets hope by the deadline something really nice is suggested.
 
Yup, still 4 days to go and I'm hoping for a new style fromt the designers :)

There have been a few logos added - the compo ends today, so I'll put it to the vote from tomorrow morning :)

I quite like Artistsneverdie designs it's clean finish and colour is pleasing to the eye...

But i still don't think that anyone has done a graphic that beats the current silver pc one on style and looks and sharpness, i know you said it doesn't have to be a pc graphic Ian, but i think the current one is already hard to beat, perhaps just an update to the text would give more Impact....just a thought...;)
