New Laptop need help with email settings to get mail on both deskt

Hi,
I just purhased a new laptop. I want to have the same email account send
mail to both desktop and laptop. I have set up the laptop account but my
incoming emails go to the desktop only. I know there is a missing link to set
this up but i have yet to find it.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Assuming that you're using a POP3 server, did you tell the desktop that it
needs to leave a copy of the mail on the server?

Of course, that won't do anything for all the mail you've already
