I have 6 total 3 year old win98 machines (TradeMark) that are still good
machines (P3 667, 128MB, 20gb hd). I want to upgrade put xp on it, so I
purchase a full version of XP, and removed the fat32 partition added a NTFS
partition and install XP so far all is good. However now and then I get a
BSOD (Blue screen of Death) at boot up that says Memory Dump. When I get it
I reboot and it seems to work then, it is not a big probelm but it gets
annoying. Also on some of the PC when I install xp I would get a error
installing certain files, but even the PC's I don't have any problems on the
install I still get the memory dump error. I wonder if anyone else had any
problems with that specific brand of PC (TradeMark) installing/upgrading to
XP? (Hardware maybe?)
