Yes, but the best way to do this is remove both of the older drives, install
only the new drive, then install XP on the new drive and finally connect the
old drive. Don't forget to check the drive jumpers!

After you install XP, shut the PC down, check the jumpers are set properly
and connect the second drive.
XP should recognize the second drive and any FAT 32 partitions previously
created. No work required on your part.

At the present I have W98SE installed. Have two HDs, The sec is use only
for backups/image

Can I remove the Pri C HD with W98 installed and install a new HD and
install WinXP without affecting the Sec HD.

Then I think I have to use fdisk to indicate there is no sec drive ?? Or
will it auto adjust for no Sec drive. ?
