One, fix your clock! Future dating your post is rude as it attempts to
position your message before everyone else's, and some users will
[automatically] delete your post without reading it. After posting my
reply, I will delete your post from my local message store. Since it
has already been downloaded, its message ID will remain recorded and
never be downloaded again (i.e., your message gets deleted and won't
show up again). Future dating your post relegates it instead to the
lowest priority if not also qualifying it for immediate deletion.
Two, rewrite your signature since it doesn't make much sense (i.e., it
is very poorly written, as though by a child or a spammer pretending to
be a child). You really think it represents the expertise to create
anything that we would want?
Three, you submitted a blank post (minus the signature) and that is
rude. Everything after the "-- " is your signature, so if "Hey You ..."
was your message then you actually made it part of your signature.
Signatures should not be over 4 lines long.
Four, your signature, if really your message, is spam and not welcome
here. The headers of your post identify your dial-up account. Consider
that you may lose your ISP account if you continue to spam here.
Five, you posted using HTML. This is usenet, not e-mail. Please post
using plain text. It is possible that your real message was in the HTML
portion of your post. Since HTML formatting is superfluous in posts,
may contain nasties, is considered rude (because it wastes twice, or
more, the bandwidth and disk space for the duplicate HTML portion), and
I never open them. Many others won't open them, either. Many users
configure their newsreaders to read in plain text only, so your HTML
message will not be seen.
