HI
Can anyone help? I am trying to add a new larger
harddrive to my computer, to transfer data from a smaller
one onto. The computer recognises that it is there but
it needs to be initalized. How do I do this?? I can't
find DISk MANAGEMENT on my computer.

Try the following:

Right-click on MY COMPUTER and select MANAGE.
Click on DISK MANAGEMENT and in the lower right-hand
window (gray shaded area), right-click on your second drive
and select INITIALIZE DISK.

If that does not work:

Go to Start > Run and type: CMD , and hit enter.
In the Command Prompt window, type: DISKPART , hit enter.
Then type: RESCAN , hit enter.
Try initializing the disk again.
