new harddrive for notebook

I am looking at buying a gateway notebook and it is missing its harddrive.
Where can I get a new harddrive for the notebook? Do I have to stick to a
Gateway harddrive? Is there any special issues I need to be aware of?

Try cdw.com or do a search on google.com for harddrives
for latops. Or ask gateway.
